Herbert 'PopPop Herbie' Harvey Jr., 58

CAMDEN - Herbert "PopPop Herbie" Harvey Jr., of Camden, died April 27, 2009, in peace at his home. He was 58. Mr. Harvey was born May 17, 1950, to Herbert Sr. and Irene Harvey. Mr. Harvey was the Proprietor of High-Vue Logging, Inc. in Camden. He was a respected, well known, local businessman. Mr. Harvey loved his Green Bay Packers and was an adoring Ernie Irvine fan. Mr. Harvey enjoyed fishing and boating. He was a common fixture at his grandkids Little League games. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Foraker Harvey; father, Herbert Sr.; his sister, Mary; his brothers, Bobby and Joey; and brother-in-law, Donald Peterson. He is survived by two sons, Paul and his wife Tammy, and Nick and his wife Juli; and five grandchildren, Aly, Josh, Madi, JP, and Kenna. He is also survived by his mother, Irene Harvey; six siblings, Irene, Darlene, Alice and David Goulet, Jake and Joyce Harvey, Charlie and Dana Harvey, Mark and Sherry Harvey; brother-in-law, Pat; and two sisters-in-law, Joyce and Terry, along with many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7 in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call two hours before the services. Interment will be 3 p.m. Friday, May 8 in the Barratts Chapel Cemetery beside his beloved wife. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Camden Wyoming Little League, Drawer O, Camden-Wyoming, DE 19934 in the name of Mr. Harvey's grandkids.
