Henry Viletus Smith, 59 WILMINGTON - Henry Viletus Smith, age 59, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Henry was born in Whaleyville, Md., on Jan. 4, 1951, son of Kate Smith and the late William Henry Whaley. Henry served 13 years in the USAF, then went on to be employed with the Veteran Administration Hospital in Elsmere for 20 years. He is survived by his mother, Kate Smith; daughter, Ebony Smith (Derrick) Alexander of Abington, Md.; step-daughter, LySandra (Van) Baynard of Ohio; ex-wife, JoAnne Smith of Bear; one brother, six sisters, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 30, at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro. Friends may call at the church this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday two hours before the service. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Services.
