MILLSBORO - Henry G. Krause of Millsboro died Tuesday, April 10, 2007, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 74.
He was born in Wilmington, son of the late Mark R. and Mary (Thompson) Krause.
Mr. Krause was a pipefitter with Local 80, and served as a pipefitter for 50 years.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, and served on the USS Randolf during the Korean War.
Mr. Krause was a member of American Legion Post 24 and the Armstrong Masonic Lodge 26, Newport.
He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, and loved dogs.
Mr. Krause was a good man who was devoted to his family, and loved his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Krause, in 2002.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mildred I. (Lackford) Krause; two sons, Keith H. Krause and his wife Crystal of Millsboro, and Robert K. Krause of Charleston, S.C.; a daughter, Mary Lou Krause of Millsboro; two sisters, Mary Lou Balch and her husband Jack, and Kitty Ann Toy; a sister-in-law, Ruth Krause; six grandchildren, Steph, Alicia, Karen, Bob, Sean and Cameron; four great-grandchildren, Ashley, Lillian, Haley and Taylor; many nieces and nephews; and his loving dogs, Ginger and Bubba.
A viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday in Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. The Rev. Bob Hudson will officiate.
