Henry Clark, 77 FELTON - Henry Clark, of Felton, died peacefully at home on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009. He was 77. Mr. Clark was born Dec. 9, 1932, in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late Delma Clark and Claudia Crawford Clark. He retired from the United States Air Force as a SMSgt. in 1979 after 26 years in the Strategic Air Command. After his retirement he worked as a civil service employee in Billeting until 1995. Hank, as he was called by his friends, enjoyed reading, searching the web, traveling, bowling, dancing, talking current events and politics, and visiting with friends and family, especially his grandkids. He was a member of The Masonic Temple, Dover. He will be remembered for his strength and commitment as a husband, father and friend to many; for his big heart, ready ear, sense of humor, and jovial, raucous laugh. Though he will be deeply missed by many, we know that he will be remembered and that his special presence lives on in all those he touched. Mr. Henry Clark was preceded in death by his son, Rick Clark. Hank is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kimiko Clark of Felton; two sons, John Y. Clark and his wife Jane of Rocky Mount, N.C., Ken H. Yamaguchi-Clark of Washington, D.C.; brother, John P. Clark of Ellenville, N.Y.; two grandsons, Robert John Y. and Brian D. Clark. Interment and Military Honors will be held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2010, in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. Memorial services and reception will follow at 1 p.m., at Harvest Years Senior Center, 30 South St., Camden, DE 19934. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
