Helen M. Townsend, 89

FRANKFORD - Helen M. Townsend of Frankford died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2007, in Townsend. She was 89.

She loved to crochet and knit.

Mrs. Townsend was a member of St. Georges United Methodist Church, Clarksville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jenny Fenton Tyre; her husband, Frank S. Townsend in 1990; and a son, Roger Townsend in 1962.

She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, Gerald and Joan Townsend of Ocean View; grandchildren, Mack A. Townsend and Marvin J. Townsend; great-grandchildren, Jamie Townsend, Kara Townsend and Austin Townsend.

Friends may call from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St., Millsboro.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in St. Georges United Methodist Church Cemetery, Clarksville.

Burial will be in St. Georges United Methodist Church Cemetery, Clarksville.
