Helen G. Loller, 88

DOVER - Helen G. Loller, died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, in Silver Lake Nursing Home. She was 88. Mrs. Loller was born Feb. 1, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Frank Woodson and Helen Gertrude Bell Woodson. She worked for Playtex in the plant, then went to work for Corp. Trust Company as a record keeper in Dover. Mrs. Loller enjoyed music, playing the piano and boating on the Chester River and in the Bay. She was also a Philadelphia Phillies fan. Mrs. Loller was a member of the Delaware Classic Car Club in owning a '57 Chevy. She also attended the South Baptist Church of Dover. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Walter Daniel "Beau" Loller in 1996. She is survived by her two daughters, Joyce Anne Hanchey and her husband Bill of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Helen G. Gottorf of Dover; four grandchildren, Tamra Rogl and her husband JR, Shelly Johnson and her husband Joe, Greg Gottorf, and Candace Mench and her husband Jay; four great-grandchildren, Ryan A. Rogl, Melissa Yankwitt, Eddie Yankwitt, and Logan Mench. Memorial services will be noon Thursday at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Faith Community Church/Women's Ministries, 2240 S.
