Hazel Louise Davis

MILFORD - Hazel Louise Davis, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012 at the home of her loving caregivers, Cathy and Bill Tupper. Hazel was born in Harrington, daughter of the late Charles D. and Anna Mae (Laughrey)Thompson. She was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to audio books. Hazel was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Louis H. Davis, in 1995. She is survived by two children, Betty Millner and husband Glenn, of Milford and Richard Davis and wife Debra, of Oxford, Ga.; three granddaughters, Lorrie Sylvester and husband Jim, Dawn Pusey and husband Eddie and Monica Goulds and husband Charles; one grandson, Kelly Davis; and four great-grandchildren, Cody and Shane Sylvester, Matt and Melea Pusey. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, with visitation after noon. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Delaware Hospice and request that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
