Harry Charles Carlisle, 85

FELTON - Harry Charles Carlisle of Felton died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, in the home of his caretaker in Lincoln, where he had resided for the past year. He was 85.

Mr. Carlisle was born in Felton, son of the late James A. and Ethel Seward Carlisle.

He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Carlisle enjoyed watching television, especially "The Price is Right" and John Wayne movies.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur Carlisle, Floyd Carlisle and Edgar Carlisle; and a sister, Pearl Smith.

He is survived by six brothers, Clarence Carlisle of Elsmere, Roland Carlisle and Leon Carlisle, both of Felton, Lester Carlisle of Wilmington, Ernest Carlisle of Kenton and Harold Carlisle of Dover; two sisters, Lillian Stayton and Thelma Kemp, both of Felton; his caretaker, Anna Mae Paradis of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be noon Wednesday in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton.

Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947.
