Harriet R. Daniels, 51
DOVER - Harriet R. Daniels of Dover, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital. She was 51. Harriet was born April 1, 1957, in Wilmington, the daughter of Ann Whitlock Robinson of Hockessin, Delaware and the late William E. Robinson Sr. She graduated from Kent County High School Worton, Maryland in 1975. Harriet worked as a secretary for Environmental Control in Little Creek. Her hobbies included camping and NASCAR. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Billy Robinson; a grandson, Hunter Brooks and her adopted dog, Casey Kahne, who enjoyed riding in the combine with her husband of 16 years, Ralph C. Daniels Jr. In addition to her husband and mother, Harriet is survived by two sons, Page Brooks and his wife, Joanne of Smyrna and Paul Brooks and his wife Missy of Dover; two step-sons, Brian Daniels and his wife Jennifer of Hartly and Brett Daniels and his wife Paula of Dover; six sisters, Hazel Dempsey and her husband, Chris of Watkinsville, Georgia, Mary Voshell and her husband, Cliff of Millington, Md., Judy Robinson of Chestertown, Md., Lynn Price and her husband Bob of Clayton, Dorothy Baynard and her husband, Wayne of Dover, Bell Natali and her husband Al of Hockessin and Susan Gray and her husband Tom of Harrington; four brothers, Bill Robinson and his wife Tammy of Federalsburg, Md., John Robinson and his wife Kathy of Felton, Mike Robinson and his wife Henrietta of Federalsburg, Md., and Tom Robinson and his wife Laurie of Dover; two granddaughters, Natalie Brooks of Smyrna and Alexis Brooks of Dover; three grandsons, Christian Brooks of Smyrna, Caden Daniels of Hartly and Bryce Daniels of Dover; her father and mother-in-law, Ralph Daniels Sr. and Shirley Daniels of Smyrna and her sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Allan Dill of Dover. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Services will be 7 p.m. Sunday in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 South Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
