Harper Lee Jester

Harper Lee Jester, 57 SUDLERSVILLE, Md. - Harper Lee Jester, of Sudlersville, died on Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Chester River Hospital Center. He was 57. Born on Dec. 4, 1950, in Chestertown, he was the son of the late Frank Harper Jester and Margaret Edith Embert Jester. He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Lee Jester. In addition to his wife, Lucretia "Dee" Jester, he is survived by a stepson, Hermelio Colon "Jimmy" Collano of Sudlersville; stepdaughter, Elizabeth Ann Carlisle and her husband John of Suldersville; and three grandchildren, Sapphire N., John C. and Edward J. Carlisle. Funeral Services will be 7 p.m. Monday in Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Rd., Chestertown, where friends and family may call one hour prior. Interment will be private. Letters of condolence may be sent via www.fhnfuneralhome.com.
