GEORGETOWN - Harold E. 'Wendy' Venable, died Thursday, July 5, 2012 at the Hospice Center in Milford. Harold was born April 24, 1930 in Meadowview, Va., the son of the late Garnett and Mildred Venable. He was electrician with Delmarva Power for many years, retiring in 1992. Harold graduated from Harrington HS, the class of "51". He was a lifetime member of Farmington VFD. Harold used to enjoyed going camping and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joan; a grandson, Brian; and a brother, Raymond. He is survived by a son, Harold Venable II, of Georgetown; daughter, Wanda J. Venable, of Felton; brother, David Venable, of Greenwood; and sister, Ruby Venable, of Greenwood. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 9, 2012, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood, DE 19950. Friends may call one hour prior to funeral. Interment service will be held at McColley's Chapel in Georgetown.
