Grover Alexander Hall, Jr. aka: Alex, died peacefully Wednesday surrounded by his family and friends.
Alex was born in Wilmington and eventually settled in Dover, Del. and worked many years for Klein Development Corp. When Leroy Klein passed on, he eventually went to work for R&R Commercial Realty for the last 17 years and made a home in Camden, Del.
He was preceded in death by his father, Grover Alexander Hall, Sr.; and stepfather, Harold Bailey; and baby sister, Beverly Jean; grandparents, Mary and George Van Horn, and Katie and Edward Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine; mother, Mary Louise Bailey; sister, Karen Bukowski; brother, Charlie and wife Wanda; brother, Andy and wife Barbaranne; daughters, Valerie Schaeffer, Julie Guthrie and husband Dustin, Kelly Swartz and husband Travis, Lexi Hall, Clare Barner; and many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He was a devoted man and took no bias on how he raised his kids and his little Peanut "Serenity".
Torbert Funeral Home of Dover, Del. has handled the cremation.
In lieu of a service, there will be a celebration of life planned for some time in June.
