Gregory Allan Alexander

Gregory Allan Alexander, 60

HILLSVILLE, Va. - Gregory Allan Alexander of Hillsville passed away Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at his residence. He was 60.

Mr. Alexander was born Dec. 24, 1946, in Baltimore, to Robert Kensyl and Alta Adonia (Bradley) Alexander.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Alexander and Kevin Alexander.

Mr. Alexander is survived by two daughters, Brandi and her husband Brian Busic of Independence, Va., and Angela Rose Traver and her fiance Paul Smith of the home; two sons, Scott Alexander of Georgetown, Del., and Gregory Allan Alexander Jr. of Bear, Del.; three sisters, Karen and her husband Joe DiMattia of Townsend, Del., Diane and her husband Wilson Walker of Bear, and Bobbie Ann Kaye of Wyoming, Del.; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence, Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane, Suite 200, Mount Airy, NC 27030.
