Gloria Louise Watsford Dukes Morris

DOVER - Gloria Louise Watsford Dukes Morris of Dover, passed away Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 70. She was born on May 20, 1940, in Orlando, Fla., daughter of the late Virgil and Beatrice (Butler) Dukes. She graduated from Caesar Rodney High School, Class of 1958. Gloria worked for the Diamond State Telephone Company, where she retired after 33 years and later worked for the Delaware Motor Vehicle for the past 17 years. She was a member of the Diamond State Telephone Pioneers. Gloria is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert Morris; daughter, Sheri Antonik of Lincoln; and a son, Robert Morris of Little Creek; grandchildren, Benjamin Antonik and his wife Jennifer of Milford, Paige and Katie Morris of Little Creek, Robert John Morris of Little Creek; and a great-grandson Dmitri Antonik of Milford. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
