Gloria Lee Weiss, 78

DOVER - Gloria Lee Weiss, passed away in her residence on Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008. She was 78. Gloria graduated from Middletown High School and had worked at Willey Farms near Townsend and also at Kingdom Kids Nursery in Hartly. After retirement she enjoyed the company of her family, gardening, and crafts. She was perfect at everything she did. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor R. Weiss in 1982. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Lee Weiss, of Dover; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Victor Weiss, and Samantha Michelle Weiss; three brothers, John R. Willey, of Smyrna, Robert E. Willey, of Bear, and David G. Willey, of Townsend; four sisters, Kathleen W. Hendriksen, of Hartly, Nancy W. Biddle, of Townsend, Susan W. DeVecchis, of Lancaster, Pa., and Mary W. Retz, of Catron, Mo.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, in the Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212 North Broad St., Middletown. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service. The burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, 352 S. Gulph Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
