Gloria Jean Moore

MAGNOLIA - Gloria Jean Moore passed away Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at Christiana Hospital. She was 58. Gloria was born on Aug. 16, 1953, in Dover, daughter of the late Clifford and Mary (Kimble) Ford. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, plastic canvas and was very fond of her pets. Gloria was preceded in death by her siblings, Lawrence Ford and Leslie Ford. She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Peter Moore; two daughters, Michele Stover of Felton, and Angela Lofland of Milford; three sons, William Caldwell of Magnolia, Michael Caldwell of Wilmington, and David Caldwell of Milford; four siblings, Clifford Harold Ford of Atlanta, Ga., Franklin Leroy Ford of Willow Grove, Betty Fuhr of Willow Grove, and Richard Ford and his wife Gail of Clayton; five step children, nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, at the Edgehill Community Church of God, 702 Maple Parkway, Dover. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
