GEORGETOWN - Gloria Ann Jones passed away at BeeBe Medical Hospital on June 8, 2015. She was surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her daughter and son-in law, Amber and Santo Motta of Seaford Delaware; their two grand-daughters, whom she adored; her son, Aaron Jones of Lewes Del.; her brothers, John Atkinson, of Okla. and Jimmy Atkinson, of Millsboro Del. and their wives. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Maxine Younger and her two sister-in laws, DeBorah Rampley and Barbra Younger. She has been returned to the loving embrace of her husband, Dana M. Jones who passed away July 6, 2000. Gloria was a remarkable woman who accomplished all her dreams she had while growing up. She and her Husband were able to travel all through Europe. Together they saw sites such as the Sistine Chapel in Rome, Eiffel Tower in France, and Stonehenge in England, and traveled all across the United States of America. They always took the road less traveled and rejoiced in their amazing adventures together. Gloria had a creative side that most did not know about. She wrote poetry and had a passion for words which she passed on to her daughter, along with her love of painting. Gloria was known for her generous heart. She always had a meal and a place to sleep for those who needed a little extra love. Gloria will be greatly missed by those lucky enough to know and love her. In lieu of flowers it would have been the wish of Gloria that people be kind to each other, enjoy the little moments, and practice random acts of love. Services will be at the Delaware Veteran Cemetery 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, Del. 19966 Thursday July 16,2015 at 2 p.m. www.benniesmithfuneralhome.com
