DOVER - Glenda Faye Marvel, age 70 of Dover, died July 18, 2015. Born in Jackson County, Ark. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Davis and Margaret Smith Mc Dougle of Bradford, Ark. Glenda, who was fondly known as "Radar" had served as a Bar Maid at GG's Restaurant and at the Side Door Bar and Restaurant in Dover from the mid 70's until 1991 at which time illness forced her retirement. Throughout the years she had been a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed traveling to Florida each year with her husband. Throughout the years she had been a faithful fan of the Phila. Phillies and had served as an umpire with the Dover Little League. Glenda will be greatly missed by the many lives that she had touched throughout her life. Besides her mother Glenda is survived by her loving husband, Richard J. Marvel of Dover: daughter, Saleslie Warren of Searcy, Ark.; sons, Patrick Mikell of Searcy, Ark., Benjamin Marvel of Dover; and stepdaughter, Marcie Holmes of Mendham, N.J.; two sisters, Lovella Fairchild of Weatherford, Texas and Vanita Haner of Searcy, Ark.; two brothers, Billy Miles and Rickey Jones both of Judsonia, Ark.; grandchildren, Regeena Manecke, Jeremy Mikell and Daniel Tarouske all of Searcy, Ark., Brian Holmes, Megan Holmes, Gregory Holmes and Kevin Holmes all of Mendham, N.J., Benjamin Marvel and Garrett Marvel both of Dover. Also survived by two great grandchildren, Camryn and Alex Childers of Ark. Private Services will take place at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro. Family suggests donations in Glenda's memory be made to the Dover Little League, 200 Electric Ave., Dover, DE 19901. Life's End Services are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc. Dover.
