Gladys Marie Ingram Rivera

MILFORD - Gladys Marie Ingram Rivera, of Milford, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Seaford, Del. Mrs. Rivera was the daughter of the late Leonzo Vernon and Sadie Gladys (Harmon) Ingram. Mrs. Rivera was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving at the Naval Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. She worked at General Foods in Dover for many years. Gladys was a Jehovah's Witness and a member of Kingdom Hall, Milford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Ingram and Leonzo Ingram; and two sisters, Thelma Ingram and Charlotte (Ingram) Jackson. She is survived by seven sons, Michael K. Ingram, Brian A. Ingram, Edward Lee Thacker, Paul Rivera, Leonzo Rivera, Luis Rivera and Antonio Rivera; one daughter, Gladys Marie Ross; two sisters, Silvia Norwood and Jenny Ingram; 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 2, 2012 at the Bethel A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Rt. 16 and Country Road, Milton, DE. Arr. by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
