MILTON - Gilbert F. McBride, Jr., passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 in his home surrounded by loved ones.
Gilbert was born April 17, 1938 in Wilmington to his parents, Gilbert F., Sr., and Helen Marie (Adams) McBride.
Gilbert loved hunting, fishing, boating, watching sports and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. In his down time he loved listening to 50's music, watching westerns and breeding, raising and training sporting dogs for field trial events. He loved his time attending worship at White's Chapel Church and taking a quiet ride on the golf cart with his beloved Helen.
In addition to his parents; Gilbert was preceded in death by his wife, Helen E. (Price) McBride on August 21, 2022; and two sisters, Jean Ferreira and Doris Lewis.
He is survived by his children, Donna Lee Behornar (John), Kimberly Ann Nickle (Dale), Cynthia Lynn Stopyra (Al) and Pamela Marie Stopyra (Steve); seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
