Gilbert D. "Fish" Fisher, 67
CECILTON, Md. - Gilbert D. "Fish" Fisher of Cecilton died Monday, April 16, 2007, in Union Hospital, Elkton. He was 67.
Mr. Fisher was born on Aug. 3, 1939, in Wilmington, son of the late William and Helen Henry Fisher. He spent most of his life in the Cecilton area working for Upland Holly in Earleville.
He enjoyed being a handy-man to his family and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Pierce and William Fisher Jr.; and a sister, Mildred Pettyjohn.
He leaves in his memory, three daughters, Helen Davis of Claymont, Del., Robin Fisher of New Castle, Del., and Kimberly Fisher of Elkton; two sisters, Clara Pratt of Townsend, Del., and Helen Smith of Middletown, Del.; five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Friday 7 p.m. in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, Md., where friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m.
