MILLVILLE - Geraldine L. DeLisle of Millville died March 9, 2007, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md., after a long illness.

Gerri was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed her family, the beach and the boardwalk.

A native of Baltimore, Gerri was a proud graduate of Eastern High School. In 1951, she met her husband of 53 years, Robert W. DeLisle, on Ninth Street in Ocean City, Md.

The couple raised five children while living in the Cub Hill area of Baltimore County before retiring to Ocean City in the 1980s, and later moving to Millville as full-time residents in 1995.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. DeLisle is survived by her daughters, Claire Glaeser and her husband, Rick of Bishopville, Md.; Ann Ault and her husband, David of Ellicott City, Md.; her sons, Rene and his wife, Carole of Sykesville, Md., Robert Jr. and his wife, Patty of Cub Hill, Stewart and his wife, Kris, of Ellicott City, Md.; grandchildren, Eric Glaeser and his wife, Meghann, Samantha Glaeser, Sarah Ault, Colin Ault, Aidan DeLisle, Griffin DeLisle, Renee DeLisle, Benjamin DeLisle, Danielle DeLisle, Beau DeLisle, Jake DeLisle, and Reed DeLisle; great-grandchildren, Evan Glaeser and Alex Glaeser; and her childhood friend, Gloria Ritterpusch.

A memorial service will be held March 24 at noon in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services on West Avenue in Ocean View.
