DOVER - Geraldine H. Beckett, age 81, of Dover, passed away on March 4, 2011, at Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. Geraldine had been a coordinator for the First State Community Action Program and was an active member of the VFW ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed her grandchildren and pets and many friends. She is survived by her son, Barry Beckett of Dover; and three grandchildren, Ivan, Nashida, and Kyra Beckett; and three great-grandchildren, Cierra A. Beckett, Micah Chavarria, and Justin Beckett. Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 8, at St. George's Episcopal Church, Harbeson, where friends may call one hour prior. Father Max Wolf will officiate. Interment follows at People's Cemetery in Rehoboth.
