MILFORD - George Williams, of Milford, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Del. Hospice Center in Milford. He was 65. George was born in Milford the son of the late Paul and Mildred (Jefferson) Williams. He was a maintenance worker for Perdue Feed Mill in Bridgeville for 22 years. He enjoyed horse racing and playing the lottery. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nancy Williams; daughters, Patti Pettyjohn of Milton, Paula Brown of Delmar, Georgia O'Connell of Milford, Mildred Marshall of Salisbury; seven grandchildren, Lisa Jester, Craig Pettyjohn, Inga Tucker, Matthew Baker, Michelle Brown, Danielle Brown and Destiny O'Connell; four great-grandchildren, Colby Jester, Carla Pettyjohn, James Baker and Julian Pettyjohn, sisters, Grace Reeves and Doris Baker; and brothers, Harold Williams and Robert Williams. Funeral Services will be 5 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2012, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
