ELLENDALE - George W. "Bill Bill" Johnson passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014 at home. He was born in Milton, the son of the late Robert H. and Betty (Bailey) Johnson. He was a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School, "Class of 1972". He was a self-employed painter. He loved NASCAR, football, Fishing, Yard work and gardening. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert D. Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 9 months, Linda Abbott Johnson; children, William Lee Johnson and Robert B. Johnson; two sisters, Beverly Starr and Belinda J. Spicer; one brother, Brett A. Johnson; and three grandchildren and father-in-law, James Abbott. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after 12 noon. Interment will be in Ellendale Cemetery, Ellendale.
