George Thomas Clendaniel

MILFORD - George Thomas Clendaniel, of Milford, passed away on July 6, 2011, at Bayhealth, Kent General Hospital in Dover of heart failure. He was 56. He was born on Sept. 16, 1954, the son of the Eugenia C. Clendaniel and the late Frank Clendaniel, Jr. He graduated from Milford High School in 1973. He lettered in golf, football and basketball. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Milford and a former member of Shawnee County Club and the Rookery. He enjoyed golfing, shuffleboard and watching the Green Bay Packers. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cheryl Clendaniel; daughters, Sarah Dutton and her fiancé', Matt Espil, Bekah Callaway Webb; sons, Drexel Siok, Zachary Siok and Kelsey Kohel; grandchildren, Paige Dutton, Payton Dutton, Parker Dutton and Kaleb Siok; brother, F. Brooke Clendaniel and his wife Deborah; sister, Nancy DiDomenico and her husband Peter, nephews, Ian and Jennifer Clendaniel, Keith Clendaniel and Lindsay, Matthew DiDomenico, Kyle Jones; and niece, Shelby Jones. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011, in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call Friday night from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the George T. Clendaniel Golf Scholarship Fund.
