George Stanley Hicks Jr.

MAGNOLIA - George Stanley Hicks Jr., affectionately known as Stanley, was born May 2, 1955, in Milford, to the late George ("Pard") Stanley Hicks Sr. and the late Shirley (Henson) Hicks. He departed this life at Lifecare Lofland Park in Seaford, on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008. He leaves to cherish loving memories his wife of 16 years, Beverly Hicks of Magnolia; his step-daughter, O'Shell Howell-Cooper and son-in-law, Jermaine Cooper, of Middletown; and two grandchildren, Simone Lily-Ann and Jermaine Stanley Cooper. His memories will always be cherished by three sisters and two brothers, Sharon Henson and Cynthia (Leo) Davis of Dover and Eva (Wayne) Cola of New Orleans, LA, Brian Hicks of Dover and Darryl Hicks of Milford; and a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held noon Monday at the Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division St., Dover, where friends may also call two hours prior to the service. Arrangements are being handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
