George Pavlosky

MILFORD - George Pavlosky, formerly of Bear, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016 at Beebe Medical Center. George was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., son of the late John and Anna (Yasko) Pavlosky. He began his career as a school teacher with the Red Clay School District for 28 years and then worked as a plant technician for Arlon for 25 years after which he retired in 2002. His memberships included APA Pool League, Milford Moose Lodge 2316, and the Milford Elks Lodge 2401. George is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Joyce (Moore) Pavlosky; four children, Gina Reich, John Pavlosky, Jerry Goodchild and Louise "Honey" Castro; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister; one brother; his ex-wife, Linda Grim; and three grand-dogs. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Milford Moose Lodge, 20142 Beaver Dam Road, Milford, DE 19963. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in George's memory to the Milford Moose Lodge for use in their community outreach programs. Arrangements in the care of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
