Faulkner, 64 GREENWOOD - George C. "Skip" Faulkner, of Greenwood died Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Kent General Hospital in Dover. He was 64. He was born on, May 12, 1950, the son of the late Elmer L. Sr. and Julia C. Thompson Faulkner. Skip served his country in the USMC from 1969 - 1971. He drove a school bus for the Lake Forest School District. Skip enjoyed his time by just hanging around with his friends and family. He would often take what he called a two beer ride with his dog "Baby Girl" whom he loved dearly. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Rebecca Faulkner Cribbin; a grandson, Matthew; and his brother, Elmer Jr. He is survived by his son, Christopher G. Faulkner and wife Shannon of Milford; five grandchildren, Chase, Taylor, Autumn, Jakob, and Isaak; three sisters, Betty Bennett of Dover, Ruth Bramble and husband Cliff of Felton, and Beverly Sehn and husband Joseph of Bridgeville; a brother, Michael Faulkner and wife Kathy of Felton; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 2 p.m., next door to Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood, DE 19950. Friends may call from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Interment will be held at St. Johnstown Cemetery, Greenwood. Family request to dress causal.
