Geneva (Willey) Wheatley, 90
SEAFORD - Geneva (Willey) Wheatley of Seaford, formerly of Bridgeville, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, in Genesis Eldercare Center, Seaford. She was 90.
Mrs. Wheatley was born July 20, 1916, in Bridgeville, daughter of the late Emory and Fannie (Jones) Willey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson H. Wheatley in 1985; and her daughter, Sue Shelly.
She is survived by her grandson, Christopher Reardon of Wilmington; her sister, Jean Short of Bridgeville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws St., Bridgeville, where friends may call one half hour earlier.
The Rev. Joseph James will officiate.
Burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 727, Bridgeville, DE 19933.
