Gene McTague

Gene (Carmean) McTague, 80

LEWES - Gene (Carmean) McTague of Lewes died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, in Harbor Healthcare, Lewes. She was 80.

She was born in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Arthur V. and Rona Carmean.

Mrs. McTague was a hotel manager.

She was a former member of Frankford Memorial United Methodist Church, Philadelphia.

Mrs. McTague was a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Roscoe and Ernest Carmean.

She is survived by her husband, William M. McTague; two daughters and a son-in-law, Susan G. Beheler of Lewes and Robin and Don Loomis of Philadelphia; two grandchildren, Wendy Martin and Scott Beheler; and two great-grandchildren, Jillian and Alec Martin.

Funeral services will be noon Friday in Frankford Memorial United Methodist Church, Oxford Avenue and Dyre Street, Philadelphia, where friends may call after 11 a.m.

Interment will be held in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville.

Contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Delaware Chapter, 100 W. 10th St., Suite 1103, Wilmington, DE 19801.

Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Milton.
