Gene Arthur Hessey, 74

CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Gene Arthur Hessey, of Chestertown, died on Jan. 19, 2009. He was 74. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol J. Hessey along with their children, Gene Hessey II of Hatfield, Pa., Jill Hessey of Chestertown, and Judy Coleman of Worton. He is also survived by a sister, Beverly Rowe of Columbus, Ohio, along with six grandchildren, Kristen Hessey, Lauren Hessey, Katie Coleman Morley, Ryan Coleman, Rachel Hessey, and Tyler Hessey. A visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 23, between the hours of 6-8 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown. Services will be held privately.
