LEWES — The Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park will host its annual wine, cheese and beer tasting from 4-6 p.m. April 15 in the Officers’ Club at the park.
Attendees can sample wines using the included commemorative wineglass and place an order with R&L Liquors for later pickup. Featured beers will also be available at R&L.
The cheese tastings will be offered via support from local vendors. In addition, volunteers will be preparing and passing out appetizers designed to pair well with the wines and beers.
A raffle featuring alcohol-related prizes will also be held. Plus, the Friends will sell signature merchandise, including shirts, caps, sweatshirts and hoodies.
Tickets purchased in advance are $27 and include the park entrance fee and wineglass. They are available at R&L Liquors, the Cape Henlopen State Park office and the Lewes Chamber of Commerce.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $30.
