DOVER - Frank Thomas Clauges, Jr. passed away peacefully in his home, Wednesday, March 10, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born March 3, 1943 in Wilmington, DE to the late Frank & Kathryn (Marvel) Clauges. He spent 40 years as a music teacher in the Milford School District, splitting time with both the Lulu M. Ross Elementary School, and the Benjamin Bannekar Elementary School. He was a member of the Milford Senior Center. Frank was an enthusiastic photographer, and lover of trains, which he enjoyed by visiting various train museums.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Larry, Terry, and Linda.
Frank is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sylvia (Carlisle) Clauges; 2 sons, David Keith Clauges & companion, Jenelle Mansfield, of Seaford; and William Matthew Clauges & wife, Jennifer, of Milford; his sister, Kathy Clauges, of Pennsylvania; 9 grandchildren, Cara, Justin, Amanda, Caitlin, Nicholas, Morgan, Juliette, Brooke, and Shawn; and several nieces & nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, March 17, 2021, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may gather 1 hour before, adhering to the current Covid-19 restrictions of mask wearing, social distancing, and a maximum of 50 people at a time.
