Frank Kesselring, 66
CAMDEN - Frank Kesselring, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009, in Christiana Hospital. He was 66. He was born on Feb. 5, 1943 in Dover, son of the late Ammon and Helen (Clarke) Kesselring. Frank was a graduate of Caesar Rodney High School. Frank served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps for 4½ years, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Frank owned and operated his own business "Kesselring Trucking" for over 40 years before retiring. He currently was employed by Winkler Farms in Harrington. He enjoyed collecting antique clocks, motorcycle riding, reading about history and spending time with his wife, family, friends and his three cocker spaniels, Sarah, Sam and Julie. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Alice (Trosclair) Kesselring; three children, Karin Pleasanton and her husband Sean of Camden, Robin Stehle and her husband Paul of Colorado, and Nelson Kesselring and his wife Erin of Georgetown; a brother, Larry Kesselring and his wife Elaine of Clayton; two sisters, Doris Taylor of Camden, and Joyce Cowden and her husband Charles of Fairport, N.Y.; and three grandchildren, Olivia Pleasanton, Miles Pleasanton, and Roman Stehle. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 7 at the Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 8 at the Wyoming United Methodist Church, 107 Broad St., Wyoming. Burial will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
