Francis William Morgan

DOVER - Francis William "Frank" Morgan passed away, Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Kent General Hospital.
Mr. Morgan was born Sept. 23, 1929, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Howard Morgan and Edna Dych Morgan. He moved to Delaware in 2004.
He served seven years in the Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Morgan worked 30+ years for the Philadelphia Gas Works, retiring in 1992. He enjoyed sports, especially baseball. Mr. Morgan was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He and his wife loved to travel across the country and going to Dover Downs. Mr. Morgan also enjoyed watching old westerns and war movies.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Doris Beagle Morgan, of Dover; son, Gregg Morgan, Sr. (Mary), of Severna Park, Md.; sister, Anna May Hitman, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; grandson, Gregg Morgan, Jr. (Lindsay); and great-granddaughter, Ava Morgan.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, May 15, 2017, at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 248 E. Chestnut Hill Road, Suite #4, Newark, DE 19713.
