DOVER - Francis "Nick" L. Gilbert, 90, of Dover, went to be with the Lord and his wife Sadie, Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. He was born on July 9, 1921, in Seaford, to William and Roda Outten Gilbert. Nick was a U S Army veteran of WWII. After the war he went to work at Schwartz Theater in Dover as a movie projectionist for many years. He also went to work at Clarke's Garage in Dover for many years. He is survived by three nieces, Loretta Wright of Dover, Leona Cravens of Dover, and Eleanor Turner of Magnolia; and three nephews, John Gilbert of Hartly, Woodrow Gilbert of Dover, and Arlie Wooters of Laurel. Remembrance Services will be 11:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be at the Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover.
