OCEAN VIEW - On Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, Francis H. Waters of Ocean View died in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. He was 80.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan A. Waters; three brothers, James Waters, Robert Waters and Paul Waters; and a sister, Mary McMahon.
He is survived by five children, Patrick J. Waters, Mary E. Shirley, Daniel J. Waters, Brian E. Waters and Steven M. Waters; five grandchildren, Douglas, Shawn, Cristin Shirley, Kyle and Meghan; three great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Keegan and Aidan; and two sisters, Patricia Callaghan and Sister Alice Patricia.
Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Melson Funeral Services of Ocean View, West Avenue.
Rite of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday in St Ann's Catholic Church, Bethany Beach.
Interment will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, Md.
Contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
