Frances S. Melda

Frances S. Melda, 93

ATLANTA, Ga. - Frances S. Melda passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, in the Marietta Rehabiliatation Center and Nursing Home, Atlanta. She was 93.

She was born on Oct. 23, 1914, in Utica, N.Y.

Frances lived in New York City, Woodland Beach, Del., Dover, Del., and Marietta.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton, in 1972.

She is survived by her three children, Simone Frisard and husband Kenneth of Marietta, Anton Melda and his wife Alda of Bear, Del., and Frani Melda and his wife Susan; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for family members.
