Frances L. Robbins, 90 MILFORD - Frances L. Robbins, of Milford, died on Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford. She was 90. She was born in Felton, the daughter of the late J. Willis and Ethyl Cooper Jones. She was a clerk for the State of Delaware working in the State Archives and the Museum for the State of Delaware, retiring in 1981. She was a member of Calvary U.M. Church in Milford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George A. Robbins in 1993; and her granddaughter, Julie Robbins. She is survived by her children, Frances Ann and William Chandler of Felton, George Robbins and partner Ron Bass of Rehoboth, John Robbins and his wife Diane of Milford and Gerald Robbins and his wife Pat of Pittsburgh, Pa.; one sister, Lucretia Rattray of Dover; six grandchildren, Robin Rockemann, Shelly Wise, W. Keith Chandler, Amy Brittingham, Ryan Knowles and Stephanie Disher; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Interment will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE.
