Calhoun Dawson, 91 REHOBOTH BEACH - Frances Elizabeth Calhoun Dawson, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away in her home on Monday, Oct. 3, with her sons by her side. She was 91. Mrs. Dawson was born Feb. 8, 1920, in Georgetown. Her husband, Norman L. Dawson; and son, Stephen Bradford Dawson, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, Ernest Thomas and wife Wanda of Salisbury, Md., David Richard and wife Valerie, also of Salisbury, William Henry Willis and wife Shirley of Lewes, John Harvey Calhoun and wife Sue of Wilmington, and Christopher Frank and wife Eileen of Rehoboth; brothers, Richard M. Calhoun and wife Sylvia of Bridgeville, and Frank L. Calhoun of Crozet, Va.; 11 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 7, at Melson's Funeral Services Long Neck Chapel, Long Neck Road, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Georgetown with a gathering afterward at the Brick Hotel on The Circle in Georgetown.
