Florence Marie David Briefman, 87

DOVER - Florence Marie David Briefman of Dover, formerly of Smyrna, died Friday, April 6, 2007, in Capitol Nursing Home, Dover. She was 87.

She was born Sept. 18, 1919, in Clayton, daughter of the late Admiral Dewey and Mary Moore David.

Mrs. Briefman was a homemaker and enjoyed yard sales.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Louise Libonati.

Mrs. Briefman is survived by seven children; Barbara Billings of Smyrna, Allen and Mary Briefman of Black Shear, Ga., Julius and Elyse Briefman of Pembrook Pines, Fla., Sydney Reader of Wilmington, Samuel and Lynn Briefman of Clearwater, Fla., David Briefman of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Maxine and Bruce Roe of Edwardsville, Ind.; a brother and a sister-in-law, William L. and Joan David of Newberry, Fla.; 17 grandchildren, Lisa, Wayne, Randy, Gina Marie, Ann Marie, Paul Jr., Joshua, Eric, Heather, Tabitha, Jennifer, Shannon, Ashley, Kaitlin, Betty Marie, Morgan, and Brittany; 11 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Zachery, Starr, Patrick, Tony, Harrison, Adam, Jeffrey, Jared, Brittney and Isabella; two great-great-grandchildren, Dustin, and Michael; her former son-in-law, Paul J. Libonati and his wife, Joanie of Sebring, Fla.; and her dear friend, Ms. Louise Potts.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, where friends may call one hour earlier.
