MILLSBORO - Florence C. Morris of Millsboro died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, in her home. She was 79.
Mrs. Morris was a retired state employee retiring from Stockey Center in 1987.
She loved her flowers, doing yard work, and RV-ing. She kept a daily diary.
Mrs. Morris was a member of the Millsboro Wesleyan Church. She was past president of the Possum Point Civic Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grover C. and Mary H. Truitt Callaway; and her husband, Walter A. Morris in 1999.
She is survived by three sons and three daughters-in-law, Danny and Brenda Morris, Wayne A. and Peggy Morris and Terry L. and Carol A. Morris, all of Millsboro; a brother, Joe Callaway of Salisbury, Md.; her grandchildren, Greg Adkins, Dean Adkins, Hester Adkins, Jennifer Morris, Dusty Graham, Kim Kirby, Charley Simpson and Rachel Morris; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington St., Millsboro.
Services will be noon Tuesday in the funeral home, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Pastor Wayne Parsons from the Millsboro Wesleyan Church will officiate.
