WYOMING - Felipe Marrero Rios, of Wyoming, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was 88. Felipe was born July 13, 1926, in Camuy, Puerto Rico, to the late, Felix Marrero & Catalina (Nieves) Rios. He had worked as a farmer for most of his life; and enjoyed watching baseball & the Price is Right. Felipe was preceded in death by his wife, Carmen (Martinez) Marrero, who died in 1996. He is survived by six children, Felipe Marrero, Jr. & Elsa Rivera, of Bridgeport, Conn., Irene Pagan & Carmen Warren, of Dover, Margaret Pasco, of Killen, Texas, and Doris Marrero, of Wyoming; a brother, Juan Marrero, of Miami, Fla.; a sister, Isabel Marrero, of Camuy, Puerto Rico; 14 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2014, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming . Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, July 31, 2014 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
