Faye Etta (Baker) Koyanagi, 69
MILLSBORO - Faye Etta (Baker) Koyanagi of Millsboro, formerly of Laurel, was called by the Lord and entered the gates of heaven, Friday, April 13, 2007, at her son's home in Lewes, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Koyanagi was born July 29, 1937, in Clintwood, Va., daughter of the late John and Cinda (Sexton) Baker.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Koyanagi was a seamstress who loved collecting antiques.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Beaulah Singleton, Corina Walters and Billie Jean Sockriter; two brothers, Fred Baker and Joseph Baker.
She is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Jill and Donald Smith of Millsboro; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Wendell and Cathy Koyanagi of Sharptown, Md., Keith Koyanagi of Laurel and Brian and Mary Koyanagi of Lewes; six grandchildren, Keith Koyanagi and Haley Koyanagi, Hayden Smith and Krista Smith, Lyndsey Koyanagi and Jon Morris; and her furry companions, Biff, Rue and Bob; two sisters, Rosella O'Day of Georgetown and Mary Price of Havre de Grace, Md.; and a brother, Charles "Eddie" Baker of Dagsboro.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Millsboro Wesleyan Church, 255 Wilson Highway, Millsboro, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be private.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Wicomico County, 5130 Citation Drive, Salisbury, MD 21801.
