Evelyn Harris, 71 TOWNSEND - Evelyn "Sno" Pauline (Scott) Harris went to be with the Lord, Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, after a short illness, at the age of 71. She is survived by husband, Douglas A Harris Sr. of Townsend, with whom she recently celebrated her 40th wedding anniversary; seven children, Evelyn Liddicoat, Katie Gearinger, Patty Cannon, Sherri Leslie, Laurie Logan, Douglas A. Harris Jr., and Alan D. Harris; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harvey Scott Jr., and Harold "Butch" Scott; and one sister, Joyce Fuller. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Delaware Veterans' Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear. There will be a gathering at VFW Post 3792, 5695 Summit Bridge Road, Townsend, immediately following. Arrangements by Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, Middletown.
