Evelyn Gannon

HARRINGTON-Evelyn S. Gannon passed away on January 22, 2015 at Milford Memorial Hospital in Milford. She was born January 23, 1932 in Easton, MD the daughter of the late George and Marie Saunders. Evelyn retired as an Executive Secretary for Kraft Foods in Dover, after many years of service. She also owned and operated the family farm since 1952, where she was a Primary Grower for Perdue and continued to work for her son's business, Envirocorp Labs in Harrington. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed her times playing cards with her retired Kraft Foods friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight siblings. She is survived by five sons, Joe (Marie), Steve (Carol), Dave, Ray (Chris) and Michael (Laura) Gannon; her daughter, Carol (Frank) Lucas; two sisters, Phyllis and Valerie; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Bridgeville Banquet Center next to Jimmy's Grille, located at 18541 S. Main St. in Bridgeville, where Memorial Services will begin at 12 noon. Burial will be private. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com
