Eunice Marie Hughes, 66
GREENWOOD - Eunice Marie Hughes of Greenwood died of natural causes Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, in Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. She was 66.
Mrs. Hughes was born May 18, 1940, in Harrington, daughter of the late Frank and Pauline (Wilson) Morgan.
She was a homemaker.
She enjoyed reading the Bible, camping, traveling with her sisters and being around family. She loved her family and will be missed by them.
Mrs. Hughes was a member of Pilgrim Chapel in Harrington. She also taught children's Sunday School class for several years.
In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Legates; a brother, Jack Morgan; and a sister, Patricia Lankford.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ronald Hughes; four sons, George Legates Jr. of Houston, Tony Legates of Lincoln, David Legates of Harrington and Paul Legates of Greenwood; a daughter, Cindy Hughes of Houston; seven grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, Harry Morgan of Bonneau, S.C., and Marshall Morgan of Harrington; two sisters, Jeannie Walker of Felton and Grace Harvey of Greensboro, Md.; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in Fleischauer Funeral Home, 48 W. Market St., Greenwood.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. There will be a reception in Pilgrim Chapel Church, Harrington.
