Ethel Louise Hudson

MILTON - Ethel Louise Hudson, of Aledo, Ill., formerly of Milton, passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, at Mercer County Nursing Home in Aledo, Ill. She was 88. Mrs. Hudson was born in Greenwood, DE, daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Mae (Bradley) Taylor. She was homemaker and also worked as a seamstress for Sport Craft Manufacturing Co., a receptionist for De. Aircraft plant in Greenwood and a draw twist operator for the Dupont Plant in Seaford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Hudson Sr.; and her son, James C. Hudson Jr. Mrs. Hudson is survived by her three grandchildren, David J., Mark E. and Angela J. Hudson; three great-grandchildren, Cody, Logan and Cheyenne Hudson; and daughter-in-law, Phyllis Hudson. A graveside Service will be 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at Coolspring Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Log Cabin Rd., Milton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Coolspring Presbyterian Church, c/o Walter Hopkins, P.O. Box 36, Harbeson, DE 19951. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Milton.
