Ethel E. Collins, 72 MILLINGTON, Md. - Ethel E. Collins, died May 26, 2010, in Maryland General Hospital, Baltimore, Md. Mrs. Collins was born on October 16, 1937 in Townsend, Del., daughter of the late John and Edwina Lloyd Traverse. She was raised in Clayton, Del., and after her marriage she moved to Millington where she and her husband operated the Green Tree Inn. For the past 30 years Ethel was a home health care nurse for the elderly in Kent and Queen Anne's Counties. She attended the Gospel Holiness Church in Golts. She collected Home Interior, and loved her family. Ethel will be greatly missed by her loving son Gerald and her husband who were at her side when she needed them most. She was preceded in death by a son John B. Collins and four siblings. Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband of 58 years, Lawrence A. Collins, Jr.; five children, Lawrence A. Collins, III and his wife Alice of Church Hill, Md., Deborah L. Fulton and her husband Arthur of Barclay, Md., Ethel E. Bogia and her husband Victor of Clayton, Del., Gerald Collins of Millington, Md., and Joanne L. Warner of Centreville, Md.; and many grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 2 at 11 a.m. Burial will be held in Townsend Cemetery, Townsend, DE. www.galenafuneralhomeofsls.com
